LET US WORSHIP AND ADORE HIM

All Hail! Lord, we greet Thee,
Born this happy morning,
O Jesus! for evermore be Thy name adored.
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing;
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord.  (“O Come All Ye Faithful”)

Jesus Christ -- His love we can experience; His salvation we can appropriate; His help we can claim; but their remains in Him the divine mystery of the Incarnation, which is beyond our understanding, and before which we can only worship and adore.

-- William Barclay (1907-1978) in “The Revelation of John” (Vol.II)

  1. Keep them coming. I have been subscribed for several years and look fd. to ea. days/ message. Send quite a few on to my minister grandson and our church minister, when I consider them exceptionally good. They welcome them, so it's a win-win situation. I want to receive them until the day I pass away. No telling when since I'm already 94 but in good health and looking for more things to chew on.
    I believe, if I'm not mistaken I read the first book I saw by him probably in the late sixties if not the early seventies. He's still a favorite of mine and always look forward to any of his chewables.
