Christ came to earth to be our bridge, and whoever
crosses the bridge will live with God forever.
The apostle John put it this way in John 5:24: "Very truly I tell
you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who send Me has eternal life and
will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life."
And until the day when you depart from your broken,
fractured, earth-bound body, you can live with incredible confidence and
boldness because, as my colleague Gene Appel says, you know who you are, you
know where you are headed, and you know what you're becoming in the process.
