"Blessed
be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every
spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ..." (Ephesians 1:3
NKJV)
Have
you ever gotten one of those "too good to be true" sweepstakes
envelopes in the mail…? What do you do
with the envelope? If you're like me,
you throw it in the trash even though it says you may have already won $10
million. I've figured out the scam --
I've read the fine print and learned my chances of winning are slim to none.
Ephesians reminds us that God has given us (past tense in
the Greek) every spiritual blessing, and there is no catch. The tragedy is that some of us merely
underline, quote, or frame the promises in the Bible, treating the treasures of
God the same way we would treat a sweepstakes letter. Are you throwing away God's blessings? Today learn how to make withdrawals from your
benefactor's heavenly bank account. It's
all there waiting for you!
